The Woodchurch Ancestry Group (WAG) is a group of enthusiastic local historians with a particular interest in Woodchurch, a village in the heart of the Kentish weald, and the surrounding parishes.
Bob and Pat Chown—our lead transcribers and longstanding members, who have contributed several articles to this blog—have recently stepped back from the group to focus on other projects. Since then, we have welcomed Jenny Mills, a recent arrival in the village who lives on The Green and shares our passion for Woodchurch’s history and its people.
